HOCHTIEF Solutions is continuing its successful collaboration with Prologis which has been in place since 2006, and is now taking on the technical and infrastructural facility management (FM) of 75 logistics properties throughout Germany with a total useful area of 1.5 million square meters. The two companies have extended their excellent partnership ahead of time, up to the end of 2014. It was agreed that no details of the contract volume would be disclosed.
With this contract which takes in 42 Prologis locations in Germany, HOCHTIEF Solutions is once again demonstrating its expertise in managing large-scale FM projects with a standardized high level of quality and lead administrative costs. The Essen-based company has set up a dedicated branch for these kinds of national projects.
HOCHTIEF will operate and service the technical building systems of 75 logistics properties. The company will also be responsible for technical inspections and will provide infrastructural services. The Essen-based service provider has set up a dedicated Web-based client portal with a document management system for this contract, tailored to the needs of the individual tenants. In this way, the client can modify requirements from property to property and optimize running costs. Prologis is one of the world’s biggest owners, operator and developers of industrial real estate.
